We are excited to announce that we will be moving from weekly updates of the MEDLINE index to daily updates. This will be achieved with the introduction of a new index that will be called PubMed Abstracts and will replace the existing MEDLINE index. The name change aligns with the PubMed database nomenclature. You can find more information here https://community.linguamatics.com/advisories/replacement-medline-index-pubmed-abstracts-index

The new index was made available on your I2E OnDemand instance in September and we have planned this as a phased transition between the two indexes. FDA Drug Labels have resumed being updated after the US government shutdown ended earlier in November.

According to the FDA website, they are not updating FDA Drug Labels due to a lapse in government funding.

IQVIA NLP will be conducting scheduled maintenance of the I2E OnDemand platform on 18-Sep-2025.

Between 20:00 UTC and 23:59 UTC on Thursday evening, I2E OnDemand, Insights Hub & Label Intelligence Hub search functionality may be periodically unavailable and access to Content Store indexes, such as MEDLINE, will be interrupted.

After the maintenance has completed, I2E OnDemand servers will be upgraded to I2E 6.14R18 (currently they run I2E 6.14R14).
